The auction house gave me exceptional service but UPS store 5428 proved to be inefficient in their handling of my request for their packing and shipping service. The result was an unacceptable delay in collecting my purchases from the auction house.

they do not arrage shipping and this would have been a problem, except that lucky the auction was local. the quality of the pillows was terrible. very disappointed

They didn't accept credit cards. The shipper they recommended did not send the small package the way I instructed them to do and the "delivered" package was NEVER received by me.

I was very grateful to Leslie Hindman Auctioneers for their compassion and understanding since I had to delay responding to their invoice due to my mother entering hospice and subsequently passing away during that same period. They were very understanding that I was unable to attend to a bank to arrange for a wire transfer during those critical days and elected not to charge me for the extra days my lot remained on site before shipping could be arranged. I am very impressed with their business model and won't hesitate to do business with them again. An efficient yet flexible operation from start to finish!

It took many attempts to get accurate communications between the front office and the warehouse so that my items were released to the shipping agent. Auction house seemed a bit disorganized. We did get things sorted eventually, but it took days...

I can't answer the first question because I've YET to receive my item. I feel as though I was nickeled and dimed with fees, not including the buyer's premium (which was hefty but disclosed prior to bidding). Upon receiving the Auction house invoice, it indicated they only took snail-mail cheques or wire transfer... seriously?? In 2018?!? (not too mention the wiring fees). I had to phone to inquire about payment online or via credit card (no info provided in payment instructions with invoice). No online payment option and 3 % fee for using the credit card payment option. Then, I was surprised to find out I was responsible for arranging the packing and shipping. Upon doing so, I was shocked to be quoted $85 WITHOUT insurance, to ship a small ring from Chicago to Florida for FIVE day shipping via FedEx (I have a FedEx account and have shipped my fair share domestically and internationally, so I'm not unversed in this area). On top of that, I was charge 4 % by the shipper for paying THEM via credit card. Total fees above the hammer price were $208 (on a $325 hammer price item). The shipper took 11 days to ship my item from the day they received my CC auth. Not cool.... I won't be doing this again.

I am a overseas customer, I request to speak with their gemologist about some issues with the lots I purchased, but they refused to pass the phone to their gemologist. My problem is still unsolved. Also, I cannot pay by visa, has to pay by wire transfer, but there is no wire transfer instructions given, when I emailed them there is no reply. I have to make overseas calls to ask for it, to make it worse, they have a policy to pay within a few days, and also penalty for late payment and storage charge which is very unreasonable.
