good auction house

I wish every auction house would honor paypal. Instead of one click checkout I have to fill in twenty fields for name, address, billing info, shipping, etc. It is tedious and I have to share my personal info with numerous "secure" sites instead of just one. I understand that there is a fee for using the service... as if the +-20 % buyers premium isn't enough to cover it.

Living in Australia it can be difficult dealing with house regarding collection payment etc. But I was in contact with an employee named Christine who was superb in helping me get payment made and collection for my shipper. I've bought works from Susanin's in the past and they have always been helpful. I highly recommend them as a place to do business with.

Susanin's is local for me, first purchase with them and a very good experience. Although located in Downtown Chicago, I had concerns with parking access and loading access etc but, they have plenty of parking space available and a loading dock as well. Easy Peasy Japanesee. I have not yet received the items won. Shipper is VERY slow to respond to emails.

Purchased a lot of Imari porcelain. Supposed to be 9 pieces total. Missing one dinner plate out of a set of 6, received only 5. Bought them because I wanted the 6 plates. Called, said return at my expense, offered no other compensation for missing plate. Not good customer relations since I have been a bidder with them since their 1st. auction.

This place is outstanding!! The shipper UPS Store was amazing, great communication. Won my auction on a Saturday, had my things by Thursday. VERY PLEASED! Hope to business again and again with this Auction House! Susannins. is a first class operation!

Trying to arrange shipping, and pick up of won lot, is really not fun. I would much prefer that shipping was not doled out to different companies. I prefer the shipping to be done by the auction house, and shipping be added to amount owed for item won.
