I have purchased through this auction house for years, and always have an easy transaction with them. Very profesional.

This was my first purchase with Susanins and I look forward to future purchases. My only request, when showing art pieces that are more than one-sided, multiple photos would be helpful. I admit I was nervous and nearly pulled my bids because there were not photos showing all sides of the multi dimensional pieces.

My wife liked the pieces that I had purchased for her. Unfortunately the pin on the quartz brooch broke as soon as my wife pinned it on. The quartz pendant is beautiful.

The buyers premium was out of line.

Purchased painting. Picked it up and discovered it had a tear in the canvas that was held together by tape. Condition was not disclosed. Listed as A Blanchard artist. It actually was Aheanchard. Totally misrepresented. Bid on another painting and thought I had been the high bid. Later discovered that someone else was the winning bidder at the same price I bid. Not fair bidding practice. Had there actually been a legitimate other bidder I would have raised my bid. You need a lot of improvement to your auction process before I will bid again on your auctions.

Would not stand by condition report, Which I requested in addition to what was online

They shipped to an old address, even though i had given them the correct one. Obviously they had it, or the credit card payment would not have gone through. When I had not received the package after a week, I emailed for a status report and got no response. I emailed again, after 10 days to tell them that they had sent it to the wrong address and that i needed to go an hour each way to retrieve it. The response that I received was rude, and completely dismissed themselves from any responsibility. I will certainly never buy from them again, and would like for you at Liveauctioneers to know.

I realise nothing can be done, but they should practice more with English. Still it didn't affect the auction or the service, although I am still awaiting delivery of the item. This is the reason the comments about shipping and description are neutral

Compared with other auction houses I have dealt with, they seemed very half-assed. Getting in touch with them took about 3 left messages to one return call-which at no point do they ever apologize for. Will not use again. Not worth the hassle.

This group is professional, unlike some of the shadier auctioneers that are out there charging ridiculous amounts to ship on top their astronomical high commissions and other junk fees.

Auctioneer described items as mint in box they where not!

It cost me more in shipping costs that the two books I bought cost. The auction house should have been able to just put the two books into a U. S. Priority mail envelope for about $5.95 and send it on to me without even adding a cost over and above the buyers premium that they already received. Very disappointed.
