First sight, I was not familiar with the self packaging method. It means when you win an auction, the House will send you a list of shipper, then you will contact the shipper asking for quotes and packaging. The shipper will come to the House and packaging and deliver your order. Everthing is rare, but it's OK for me now. Thanks

Item had significant damage that wasn't noted. Two people, myself included, bid on the items like they were in perfect condition-price realized was that of a perfect piece. They went as far as to look over the piece, provide more photos, but still didn't note the damage. I asked for them to rectify this and stand behind what they sold. Sadly they refused. The piece isn't worth half of what I paid. I have dealt with other auctioneers with similar circumstances-they either provide a partial refund that puts the price near it's damaged value or a full refund when an agreement can't be reached. I no longer trust this seller's practices which I'd consider unethical.

I've purchased many items through the years at Susanin's, both online and at live auctions. They secure a wide variety of art, furniture, and other treasures. Descriptions of the items are always accurate and they are very quick about getting back to you if you have a question. My only complaint is that they require check or cash for larger purchases and don't take AMEX or Discover.
