After making your online payment you'll receive access to their pick-up scheduler link. Upon arrival your items are waiting & set aside. Your mdse. is on a table w/your name, verify against the provided invoice, sign off, carry to your vehicle 20 steps away, gone. Bldg is on Paxton and 2 minutes from I-83. Of the dozen PA auction houses I pick up from, Cordier is the most organized and efficient and no messing around. Time is money and I actually enjoy not having any anxiety when making the short quick drive to their pick up door at my appt. time, no waiting!

Cordier was exceptionally honest in my transaction-very pleased with the process, and the lot I won is beautiful-and unbelievably priced.

Cordier Auctions & Appraisals was easy to work with and very professional. Their written lot descriptions were accurate, and the photos further enhanced the descriptions. They do not offer in house shipping, but have a preferred shipper, Postal Connections # 225, that picked up my purchases promptly and was very efficient and easy to work with. They did an excellent job of packing the items so that they all arrived safely (the carrier was a bit rough with the box and it arrived with a huge depression in the side). I'm pleased with all my items; they arrived exactly as they were described and photographed in the catalog. All in all, this was a great auction experience, and I am looking forward to another auction with Cordier.

I read the fine print, but didn't think I'd be bidding over $1000, so wasn't expecting to have to arrange for a wire transfer. Major inconvenience-time spent (3 hours emailing auction house, then phone and going to bank in person, because that's how my bank does wire transfers), extra days of wait time. I always pay by credit card the same day of invoicing, but couldn't because I was required to pay with wire transfer-it was a weekend, so had to wait extra days until Monday when the bank opened. Also, if you are purchasing something delicate, do not use their recommended shipper. I purchased four 1860-80s hand blown glass sand timers, and they were all dumped in the same bubble bag-no individual wrapping-and then that bag was shipped with many other things in a box. Amazingly, they made it-but no one should be shipping any kind of antique glass without wrapping that item individually first. Would I use this auction house again? Probably not.

after very poor communication, auction house considered my items abandoned, I had paid for them and was awaiting shipping instructions. Will never shop this auction house again.

The auctioneers staff are always professional and courteous! My items are always ready and by the door for me the load.

I would like to give Cordier a better rating but my last experience caused me more frustration than it was worth. I have purchased so many items through them in the last few years. I even purchased a house through them. I have always told people they are a good, friendly business. Something changed. Perhaps they were taken advantage of, perhaps they became greedy, whatever the case may be, I am finished tooting their horn. The lack of empathy or concern I received from their employees when I missed my appointment and asked to stop over the following day to pick up one simple item. It would have been an easy in and and easy out. They could have cared less. Pay the fee and reschedule another day. It didn’t matter that I would be away, I had to ask someone else to pick it up for me, otherwise I would have been paying the storage fee. I never missed an appointment before, and they can look back over my history to see how much I really have purchased. And when looking, feel free to look at my purchase on 5/14/22. You all were way off on your description. You described 2 Longaberger Baskets and one had a plastic liner. What you all failed to mention: It was 1-Longaberger basket (missing a rivet on the handle) along with a cracked plastic liner and one no-name basket with a filthy cloth liner. My fault for not bringing it to your attention. Why? Because I figured someone made an honest mistake. So the thanks I got from your staff during this past transaction was embarrassing. I was already upset based on what caused me to miss my appointment then when I had to speak to your staff with their lack of any care, other than to make you all another $10 (plus the processing fee) was ridiculous. Do better Cordier.

Doesn’t allow for pickup except for pre-arranged times THEY set. If spots you can actually get there are unavailable, you’re SOL and they will charge you.

I found this auction company to be unwilling to be flexible when I had an unexpected conflict with the pickup schedule. I offered plenty of other dates, plenty of chances for a work around, but in the end asked them to toss the item (I still owned it, I had paid for it) since the storage fees were more then the bid. Instead, they confirmed it as "abandonment" which sure sounds like they will just re-sell it. Really shady experience, and I'm puzzled since they will lose more money in the end by losing a repeat buyer. I've been collecting and buying at auctions for 30 + years.

Am very pleased with the professionally organized process of purchasing and picking up items. Buying is made easy, staff is courteous and helpful!
