The item purchased looked WORSE in the photos than it really was. Sellers should provide better photos with much higher resolution. Shipping was outrageous! It was a small item, under 5 lbs net weight. Purchase price was $350 with commission but shipping (through a third party shipper) was an additional $133! They used an excessively large and shipped via USP. If they has shipped via USPS in a flat rate it would have saved at least $50 on the shipping cost. In future, if exact shipping costs aren't clearly stated in advance, I probably wont bid.

I was very satisfied with the auction house and the auction process. The auction pace was well-timed. I was less satisfied with the auction house and the shipping as the piece I bought was broken when it arrived. And while the auction house did not ship the piece, they did recommend the shipper. Rather than respond immediately to my email about the broken piece, the auction house chose to ignore the email as if it had not happened-definitely a lack of professionalism from the auction house. When a complaint is registered-it should be addressed immediately to defuse the situation. Luckily the shipping company did respond immediately.

There is a common problem with all online auction transactions: outlandish shipping and handling fees. My package was very well packaged and arrived safe and sound-no complaints in that department. It just costs way too much.
