Description
A Kershaw County native, Otis retired from making pots believe at last from his Chesterfield Co SC shop. And then about 5-6 years did create pots again for a short period. Norris also spent many hours at Bethune Pottery when Otto/Javan owned in the 1960s. Then he worked there in the 1970s and would eventually bought Bethune Pottery. Later he would have to sell that shop, but opened another one. He is considered one of the best living folk potters of SC. This snake jug is a fine example of his folk pottery. He signed the jug on the base. Stands 12" tall.
