this set was made by the Porter Chemical Company of Hagerstown, Maryland and is extremely rare (one of only 1 or 2 previously found); this example recently surfaced and with the exception of the damaged cover is in remarkable condition appearing unplayed with and retaining all original components including numerous test tubes and wooden containers all with Buck Rogers labels, a Buck Rogers labeled telescope is included, the original three instruction manuals were enclosed in a very large envelope with colorful images of Buck, Wilma Deering, and Dr. Huer at work in a laboratory; also included in the set is a microscope - original but not marked Buck Rogers; all in all the set is a remarkable survivor
