Description
A sabre for infantry officers, circa 1800Leicht gekrümmte Klinge à la Montmorency (stellenweise etwas narbig), an der Wurzel unter dem terzseitigen Parierlappen die Herstellerinitialen "I G ...". Messing-Bügelgefäß, im klassizistischen Stil mit Palmetten verziert, fein gewaffelter brauner Holzgriff (Risse). Schwarze Lederscheide (berieben, nachgeschwärzt) mit sparsam verzierten Messingbeschlägen, am Mundblech ein Trageknopf mit Palmettendekor. Anhängendes älteres Portepee mit goldenem Band und goldener Quaste. Partiell leicht beschädigt, Altersspuren. Länge 101 cm.Condition: II
