Description
A Japanese shinto katana in shirasaya, circa 1650The blade inspired by a Nanboku-cho form, shinogi-zukuri, flat torii-zori, o-kissaki, fine itame-hada, wide notare-midare hamon with yahatsu, one side of the blade with bohi and soehi as well as bonji, the other with the horimono of a water dragon coiling itself around a ken, as well as further bonji. Two-piece gilt habaki. Nakago with three mekugi-ana, inscribed "Taira Moriyasu". Length K/M 71 cm, overall length 93.5 cm.Condition: II -
