Description
[GAMES - CHESS]

Printed paper and wood Classical-themed chessboard. English: Illegibly signed, possibly reading "Reihl D. Young del. Dec. 1867." 11 3/4 x 12 x 3/4 inches (30 x 30.5 x 1.75 cm). A solid wood board, with a pasted-down paper surface, printed with Classical-style masks and Greek-key border. Scuffing and wear to the board's surface, a few small losses to paper along corners or edges, remains of a pasted down surface, probably felt, to the bottom of the board.
