Struck at the New Orleans Mint. Composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, containing approximately 0.7734 troy ounces of fine silver. The obverse features a left-facing portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap adorned with wheat and cotton, surrounded by the inscriptions E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1880. The reverse depicts an eagle with outstretched wings clutching arrows and an olive branch, encircled by a laurel wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and ONE DOLLAR.
