Length:92cm(36.22in) Width:45cm(17.72in)Painted after a poem by Du Fu, this is a representative blue-green landscape with splash colour by Xie Zhiliu. Towering strange peaks dominate the composition, with cliff faces splashed in rich deep azurite blue. A waterfall cascades down the mountains; woods nestle mountain dwellings, and a winding path threads through hills. Rocks are outlined and textured with ink strokes, enriched with classical vivid colours. The work merges free brushwork and heavy colour, conveying grand momentum together with literati elegance. In original old mounting, paper bears natural age patina
