All from the Dr. Fredrick E. Hyde family of Ridgefield, Conn., circa 1875, some identified on old handwritten tags, including: A Pair of Elizabeth Alvina Hyde and her brother, 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" ovals in 7 3/4" x 6" wine velvet frames; PLUS the same two a few years later, in wine (him) and aqua (her), same size; PLUS Talbot & Eddie in matching aqua velvet frames with brass leaf corners, integral easels, 4" x 6"; PLUS Mrs Hyde, unframed, 8 1/2" x 6 1/2"; PLUS Dr. & Mrs. Hyde in leather folding easel cases, 2 3/4" x 2" ovals in 5" x 4" cases; PLUS Oval Portrait of Unidentified Woman, in plush plum velvet case with domed lens, 6" x 4 1/2"; PLUS Head of Young Woman in miniature case, 1 3/4" x 2" overall, broken hinge. All images in generally good condition.
