Joseph Csaky (French-Hungarian, 1888-1971) Tete de Femme. Silvered and gilt bronze sculpture, conceived in 1924, this version being cast posthumously in 1997. Bearing the maker's mark with foundry mark 'Blanchet Fondeur' and the mark of the Atelier Csaky. Provenance: Galerie Vallois, Paris Provenance: Galerie Vallois, Paris Overall: 14" x 7" x 7"

Condition

The silvered face sustains a decent amount of tarnish and there are approximately 6-8 small bluish oxidation marks on the back of the gilt head. The sculpture overall has some very minor, very shallow surface scratches. The base sustains minor surface scratches to the center from contact with the base of the sculpture
