Unresponsive to emails through LA. Caontacted me via phone over a month later to inform me of nearly $500 for shipping a few items. When told that I can pick them up in person, they claim I will still owe $200 for "packing fees". Outrageous. Terrible communication. Stay away.

Picked up my own purchase. The staff was excellent. Unlike some more prominent auction houses, the staffed loaded it in my vehicle. I would highly recommend Jeffrey S Evans & Associates. I hope to shop with them again.

This was only my second on-line auction experience, and I will say-these were impulse purchases in the frenzy of learning about auctions in general, and on-line auctions in particular. They used lots of photos and their descriptions were good. One lot included 2 vases that were damaged. They did an outstanding job both documenting and photographing the damaged areas-nothing left to chance here-I appreciate the honesty. I used their in-house shipping and originally thought it was rather high. However, the painting was shipped separately (makes sense) and the two 12 "and 14" vases where much larger in weight and breadth than I expected, and arrived in a very large, carefully packaged box. As I stated-this was an impulse purchase, but I am very, very happy with the Rookwood and Weller vases that I could never afford if perfect (I can't even find the Weller restoration to the rim although it was well documented). The painting is not quite my cup of tea (although nicer in person), but live and learn. My frustration at my impulse purchases turned into a rather good experience overall, and I will definitely use them again.

The staff was responsive, the payment process was straightforward, and each item was packed and shipped with care.

What a pleasant auction experience! A truly fascinating offering of a remarkable collection of antique sewing items. Great thorough descriptions and lots of good photographic images. Very reasonable presale estimates. The actual auction moved right along and was truly exciting. The payment process of smooth and in-house packing and shipping was wonderful.
