I wish they had in house shipping, it would be easier. It took longer and I believe it was a little more expensive to use a UPS pick up service.

The lot purchased was minor with a fair price paid; unfortunately you recommended a shipper who overcharged for the delivery. This will probably prevent my further interest in your auctions. Sid **********

I bid and won an item online-simple enough. Paying for the item was also relatively simple but it did not include S/H charges. Because the auction house outsourced the S/H, I had to wait a week and a half for the item to be picked up then pay separately for the shipping charges. I also felt that the shipping charges were over priced. I paid almost twice for shipping and handling than I should have. At the end of the day, I got the item I won and am satisfied with it, but almost two weeks after I paid for it and after being way over charged for shipping and handling. Bottomline, in the future I'll stick to ebay, they have managed to figure out how to make the auction process work seamlessly.

My interactions with William Jenack was most cordial and satisfactory. I have no specific issues with them. I do have a more general comment relating to my experiences in recent months, which is not specifically directed at the William Jenack Auction Company. This was the third of your sponsored auctions where I have bid and won in the past two months. My only area of dissatisfaction is the long lead time required to get an item shipped after payment, as all three houses used an outside/third party shipper. Perhaps I am spoiled by eBay (another source of materials) and the major philatelic auction houses (Robert A Siegel in NY and Schuyler Rumsey in CA) who have their own in-house shipping and ship auction lots won within 24/48 hours of payment. It is also annoying to not have any idea ahead of time as to the range of shipping costs. In one prior auction, the shipping would have exceeded the cost of the lot had I not been able to make other arrangements. I realize you do not have a direct role with these businesses, but in the future my participation may be lessened by these considerations. Regards, Mike

Seller would not ship even though relatively small item. Shipper seller partners with was horrendous. They were so inept, took one week to even respond with a quote, another week to ship, and had horrible communication with multiple responses that were contradictory.

No help at all on shipping and I still have not got my item. Never again will I deal with this action house again.

Despite saying on their website, that they do provide a shipping, they do not. It is not possible to call them, the phone is only an answering machine. Email replies do take days, it is besides this the most unfriendly auction house I ever faced. I have been in touch with many auction houses, but I never felt so humiliated by email replies than with this house.

The shipping is problem which I will concert whether I am going to auction again. Because there are other choice and it is too expensive to ship compared to other shipping companies.

My experience with this auction house was great. That can't be said with everyone I've done business with. It was a great example of how things SHOULD work!

The auction was completed Aug. 30th and did not arrive at the UPS shipper until Sept. 10th, so it took a while to get the items. This lag time was too great and needs to be shorter. I will definitely take the lag time into consideration before bidding on another of their auctions.

I wish that Live Auctioneers had a better system to let an online bidder know if they are the current high bidder, twice now, I have bid and see that a Live Auctioneer bidder is the high bidder and I assume it is me and often lately it has been someone else who is the high bidder and I don't bid the next increment.

The braclet that I had bought from the auction house was scratched not described too well. But I do wear it and love it. I just wish that there was a better description of the ite.
