Buyer beware! Kraft advertised the gun I bought as "New". When it arrived it had major, long-festering, deep bubbled rust all over both O/U barrels. No way Kraft could not clearly see and know about that. The photos they posted were blurry and dark. Very hard to see. I called and spoke with Jonathan Kraft once who mocked my concerns and since then has refused to reply to any of my e-mails and cordial follow up phone messages. My requests for a reasonable partial refund have been totally ignored. I would not trust any auction description from Kraft. Simply very dishonorable, deceptive business practices.

I really like the auction houses like this one that offer in house shipping. With some other (most) auction houses I have to contact an outside shipper or two to get quotes for shipping. If you bid on a lot of items in different auctions as I tend to do it becomes a confusing chore. Not so here.

Great experience

Just received my latest auction win items from Kraft Auctions. I am a repeat buyer and have to say Kraft is top notch! The items are exactly as described, the packing was impeccable and shipping costs were very reasonable. I give them an A + and will continue to look for more items to buy through Kraft and LiveAuctioneers!

This auction house uses Shipping Saint and has an in-house shipping program. This is crucial. I've had awful experiences with auctions where I forgot to check on the shipping policy. Auction houses with no in-house shipping require you to reach out to a local pack n ship store and the upcharge on shipping is ALWAYS so exorbitant that it negates any good deal. At Kraft, you buy a box, they weigh it, and they ship it. Perfect! Highly recommend!

Kraft was responsive and prompt to provide an invoice. Shipping took a longer time and was expensive. There is a 20 % premium for the auction house. The item ran well and was a hit with the train club. One powered Budd car and one non-powered Budd car. Pretty cool!

With premiums rising buyer's are forced to bid on less items.

I have bought hundreds and thousands of antique and vintage lots from auction companies, and no one compares to the integrity and service I have found with Kraft. Every company is supposed to make a profit, and I hope Kraft does very well, but most companies could not spell Customer Service if I spotted the two words and only asked to put them in the correct order. It may appear I own stock in Kraft or someone is holding a gun to my head, but the truth is.. I have a great deal of respect for Kraft and the integrity that they are committed to in an industry that needs a high level of trust. Between integrity and customer service, Kraft Auction is where I trade anytime I can.

If you bid on a lot of auctions as I do it gets confusing when I have to contact third parties to handle the shipping. I prefer auction houses that offer in-house shipping like this one. My experience with this auction house was a good one.

Extremely well packed item. Box used was easily 1/3 larger than required. Shipping costs were high as a result of using the large box. Took a long time to receive.

When I received the invoice from Shipping Saint for the most recent auction, I immediately thought that a mistake had been made, due to the extremely high charges. I contacted Kraft Auction and Brian (and John) worked with me to basically eliminate 80 % of the shipping charges. They found a way to use a much smaller box, instead of the oversized one quoted in the invoice, and found a better shipping rate. This is the second time they've come thru for me, in two separate auctions. I will continue to bid at Kraft Auctions with 100 % confidence in Brian and his team and the items they auction.

Kraft is one of the best auction services out there! Always pleasant to work with.

I bought old military shoulder pads that would easily fit into a medium size envelope with a little padding. After paying for these they wanted $25 to ship. I called them and asked that they just ship it first class in an envelope and I would be happy to pay for that. The woman said we are not going to ship it free. After several attempts to get the price down we got to $20 or I could send them a prepaid shipping label and they would charge for the envelope. Unfortunately the only way I knew to do this was online with USPS which only allows priority mail prepaid which cost $9. I sent that to the auction company, but they continued to send me invoices for shipping over and over again. Each time I sent a reply that I had sent them the prepaid label as agreed. The label was for a priority mail flat rate envelope. Finally several days later, I received and email that the package would be shipped soon. When I got it, it was in a box about 7 "x7'x7". Thankfully the post office accepted it with my priority flat rate envelope label. The hassle trying to get a $100 small item shipped is not acceptable. If I bought anything larger than my 4 inch by 5 inch flat shoulder board, I would hate to see what kind of jacked up shipping they would charge.
