This was my first purchase from Hindman, although I had bid in several of their prior auctions and/or requested Condition Reports. I was happy with every aspect of the auction process and interaction with the seller. I will definitely do business with Hindman in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

No matter which Hindman location is holding an auction, the lots will be high-quality, interesting, and often unique. I am very happy with all of my wins at Hindman auctions so far. The photos and descriptions are accurate, and the process is smooth and efficient.

Very patient with me as I forgot my item there! Very professional. I have worked with them more than once and will do so again in the future.

Would give them a five star review but more than a month after paying them and receiving the items they still show the invoice as unpaid on Live Auctioneers. This could cause problems for me later on.

their customer service/payment dept has a lot to be desired, we dont like getting phone calls re a payment that has been mailed out promptly. When we asked re. shipping/othertquestions the payment dept said they would look into it, and get back to us........... all we recieved was two more e mails re payment demands again their cust. service payment dept needs to be fired and trained as to dealing with auction customers. We will never do businesss with them again

Although this item went without a hitch, I have experienced another item where I get a "you are the winning bidder" message and then is given to another bidder for the same price of my so called "winning bid". Strange or more!

Fabulous bird baths and very helpful auction house as I sorted out shipping

I've purchased several items (art, furniture) from Hindman. In every case, they have been very responsive about providing accurate condition reports and arranging for viewing. They gave me excellent and affordable recommendations for shipping. I've been very pleased with the quality of their auction items and with their professionalism.

We always watch for Hindman Art Auctions for their quality and diverse offerings. We have purchased numerous items and all have been incredible additions to our family collection.

I've dealt with several auction houses now and Hindmans is a very professional and honest auction house.. as soon as they realized the mirror was in a condition very different than they had realised, they contacted my shipper to alert him. He alerted me and when he said he could not even bring it given the condition, Hindmans gave me a full refund. I was impressed with how responsive and quickly they handled the situation and definitely recommend to others to bid with them. Contrast this to another mirror I purchased from another auction house who deliberately did not show photograph of back and the supposed late 1800s mirror arrived, besutil Italian wood frame but cardboard back and clearly new glass deliberately not mentioned in listing so is refreshing to find an honest auction house like Hindman

Auction House requires very exacting actions from the buyer. Take care with the recommended shippers. The price quotes vary astronomically!

I’ve purchased a number of pieces from Hindman, specifically the new Antiquities department, and they’re extremely professional and handling all aspects at an extremely high level. Certainly recommend!

My payment for my item has went through my bank and I have received my item with the shipping invoice paid. Yet, the listing shows that my item is "Invoice Pending". This "Invoice Pending" listing designation made it difficult to complete the shipping arrangements in a timely manner because the shipper did not know if Hindman Auctions would release the item to them.
