It would have been easier if the email from the auction house had a link to make the payment online. I called the auction house and spoke with a very friendly and efficient gal. Shipped very quickly. Good experience and will monitor their upcoming auctions.

I seldom respond to these surveys-wrinkle here, a wrinkle there, But here it was very nice people, very smooth process, and just I think outstanding in the scheme of things in my experience. I add that it makes a huge difference in overall price when an auction house handles the shipping. Truth to tell, it can make a difference in my bidding or not bidding, and has.

I paid for the item and was told it would arrive in 7-14 business days. On the 15th business day, I called Morphy's and they told me the item had been overlooked in the warehouse and hadn't shipped yet. It shipped the next day and arrived 4 days later. In addition, the item was not described accurately. The pump was described as "not working". It was actually missing the pump component entirely rather than simply not working. Overall, I'm very disappointed with my experience and will refrain from bidding on any future auctions.

Morphy offers affordable shipping in house. A big plus for me. Dealing with shipping companies is such a hassle that it's almost not worth buying at auction sometimes. That's one of reasons why I keep buying from Morphys.

There is a delay when bidding by phone. So if you hit a price sometimes it is climbing more rapidly than your phone shows. I bid on something for $40 less than what I thought I was bidding. I know the rules so I was stuck. The prices for packing and shipping are outrageous. The auction fees are also too high. 22 % is high.

Morphy's used to be a nice normal Auction House but I think once they bought up the other auction houses, they have changed. I have been talking to them about an item I didn't receive which was 1 or 2 items won and paid for at the same time. They wanted proof of pmt to you (LA) & I could not get them to understand. After a year I just gave up! Their most recent auction in Las Vegas was ok but they ship Fed X and I was charged $68.00 + for a wooden card holder approx 6 "x 8 or 9". Seemed high but probably won't buy with them in the future. There are so many good and pleasant smaller houses (Hyde Park, Copake, to mention 2) that are very nice and fun to deal with that there is no shortage of what people are looking for or enjoy. They are not bad, just different since they are so large.

I like Morphy but it seems whoever is writing the listing info for their lots need to get their act together. Lots of incorrect info, such as "Lot of 3" when in fact it is only a "Lot of 1".... and their shipping and handling charges have gone SKY HIGH compared to a year ago, even on very small items. Not happy with their shipping and handling increases, and may have to stop purchasing from them before long.

I was unaware that you would use Fed Ex-they always come when you're not home as they did this time. I had to run circles to get them to leave my package. I won't bid next time if you use UPS or Fed Ex-they are about even with how annoying they are. Your rep didn't know how items would be shipped-they should know. Good speed in delivery-although wasn't home to sign-quality items-easy to sign up-helpful customer service-though unclear on shipping method

Their shipping was in house FAST and VERY reasonable which you never see with others!!!!!!!!

Morphy auctions misrepresented the condition of the jukebox we purchased. Legal action is being considered.

They're the best. Very detailed and accurate descriptions and photos. Extremely friendly and helpful at working through any questions. (Need faster shipping from Las Vegas, though.)
