Having to call to give you our credit card number is annoying. You should take Paypal, most enterprises do nowadays.

Invoicing and shipping were very slow. When questions were sent through the website It took several days and 3 tries to get a response. The item was fine when it finally arrived about two weeks after the end of the auction.

I had a great experience from start to finish. I've never bought anything from an online auction before, and because I had such a great experience, I am now looking for other things to buy. Perfect transaction!

I have bought several items from them over the years and many items from Victorian (who they bought out). After that merger the shipping fees shot through the roof, to nutty levels. They are so unpredictable that I withdrew bids from other Morphy auctions. I can asses the cost of an item I'm bidding on, I can assess the seller premium, but the new shipping cost structure is just not something I can assess. So, no more bidding with them for me. I mean, how can SH equal 40 % of the cost of a mid price non-fragile item? How can they drop that on you once you agree to buy the item? I was stuck and not happy. I guess buyer beware still applies.

First I am somewhat surprised that there is a survey as I have never been prompted for an opinion on anything from LiveAuctioneers. But Dan Morphy...... how very ironic at this very moment. In the ideal realm of customer service, I should be calling Morphy with my complaint which in an ideal world Morphy would deal with. But Morphy Is 50/50 on phone and email communication. In this case shipping, Morphy has made this an issue because Morphy has repeated a shipping screw-up that traces back 10 years. So why make a potential waste of time call. I accept only one shipping carrier; USPS. I insist only my Post # only on shipping address. Morphy sends FEDEX to our home when both my wife and I are on holidays. We get 2 notices plus unnecessary charges. The neighbour has told me she has counted.,,, AND this is not the point. The point is that FEDEX is NOT in my direct clear instructions to Morphy for a shipping option.... AND they have repeated their mistake after extensive phone calls and emails. Maybe not 10 but how about a Brian Williams 8 years of history here.... AND I can give multi-detail explanation why Post Office # and NOT my street address. So limit the argument on shipping to customer is right. In over 2, 000 eBay transactions there has been no FEDEX. My bad FEDEX experiences involve Morphy. I look like Mike Scioscia Game 3 against the Blue Jays after they blew a 5 to 1 lead. I was in Reading PA when my wife called about the FEDEX and I knew at that moment that it was Morphy.

Description of vintage radio said battery operated. It is not and is not working. Very disappointed Never any problems with Morphy auctions before, so this is surprising

The Staff answering the phone and working the front desk at Dan Morphy Auctions LLC were very polite and went out of their way to assist. I decided to pick up my item at the auctions house a week after the auction date and there was no pressure to immediately retrieve. Also, I was running late the day I picked up the item and called ahead to make sure they were still open. They had my item pulled for transfer before I arrived and quickly finished the paperwork and had me on my way. Very Happy with my experience.
