The bid that I made was unintended. When I contacted them and explained what happened, they let me out of the bid. It was $700 on an object that I did not want, so I definitely appreciate their help.

THEY RUN EVERY BID UP.. YOU CAN TELL WHEN A ITEM JUMPS 20 BIDS IN 2 SECONDS. THEY'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS. IN MY CASE I WON THREE ITEMS AND TWO WERE WRONG. THE DAY OF AUCTION TWO WERE RUN UP. ONE I DID GET FOR 325.00 OTHER TWO WERE RUN UP. ONE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 100.00 AND ANOTHER ON SHOULD HAVE BEEN 125.00. VERY SAD A BIG AUCTION COMPANY THAT DOES THAT WHICH HURTS YOU.

Very dissatisfied with LiveAuctioneers On one item you showed me winner, so I turn around to mark it down on paper and just came back to see on screen that bid reopened and sold to someone else. On a second item you sent me email that I am winner only to find out after 2 days that NO I did not win that piece. You also are very behind the timing side by side with Morphy site, Yvan **********

I was notified by Live Auctioneers that I won a rouletter wheel for $400. When I called Morphy Auctions to inquire about payment for the roulette wheel, I was informed by Morphy Auctions that the roulette wheel was sold to someone else for $1500, although Morphy would not provide details regarding the winning bid which trumped my bid for $400. As you can imagine, I was extremely disappointed Below is my correspondence with Morphy Auctions. My disappointment is primerily with LiveAuctioneers, as they never responded to my inquiries about the sale of the roulette wheel. Below is the correspondence with Morphy Auction, informing me that they were sorry the wheel had been awarded to another bidder: From: "Linda J. Baker" Date: October 22, 2015 at 10:13:07 AM EDT To: Greg , info Subject: RE: You won item O'Neill Chicago Wooden Numbered Roulette Wheel hi, Greg I am very sorry for the incorrect information sent to you by live auctioneers. My absentee bids were not honored. Items were sold on the floor for what my bids were which were recorded earlier. Since my bids were submitted first I would think that would take priority.

to buy an item and add 22 % I can live with but to then spend another 53.00 to ship a thermometer from vegas to dallas is absurd I will be very selective in the future

Very dissatisfied, 3 of 8 items arrived damaged after I paid them $40.00 extra to make sure they arrived here safely. Still have not received refund for damaged items that I returned.

I bought an item by mistake and told them during the auction (12/9) immediately with the special reply button that this was the case. I said I would pay of course, but asked them to keep the item for the next auction and not charge shipping to holland. No reaction. On 9/15 I got an invoice with shipping costs! So, again I send them an email explaining what had happened. No reaction. On 15/9 I got a reminder to pay the invoice! So for the third time I replied. No reaction so far! Sorry, I am obviously very dissatisfied.

I strongly feel the "handling" process of your shipping department (or 3PL [ third party logistics ]) over charges. Your annual rebate from your/their main shipper, whether UPS or FedEx, should be passed down to consumers. I'll be reluctant moving forward using your auction house for this exact reason, despite the great quality of products you offer.

More photos, not just the side of the trains. The roofs and the bottoms and the motors of the engines. Also 7 days to get the discount for paying with check or cash is too short of a time. Cannot control the mail.

There were some mix ups with the extremely rare train engines and some tenders that were corrected before the internet sale occurred. That train collection was a world class rarest collection that has come along in the last few decades and it may be a few more decades before we see another one. I can understand how a few engine/tenders might be wrongly combined by the photographer at the first photo session.
