I cannot take this survey accurately because I have not received my items yet. Not very happy with the time it took to get an invoice from them and then after payment, they still take 7-14 days to ship. This is January the 4th and I don't expect delivery for another week yet. Way to long in my estimation.

I used packmail to ship my items and I was so pleased. I will come back to Clars again and again! Just loved the online auction.

Sells suspect Indian artifacts. Some items are knapped, but the description doesn't state that.

Everything went perfectly. I was delighted that Morphy's handled the shipping themselves at a reasonably price. The print arrived quickly and was very well packed!

The fact that you pack and ship at a reasonable price makes me want to buy from you again. The houses that ask a ridiculous amount... e. g. 200 plus dollars means I won't use them. Those that use outside shippers are sometimes OK but I am less likely to bid as high compared to your company.

I drove to the auction house and paid in person. The clerk that handled the transaction made two payment errors on the bill. First, she didn't include the sales tax and then she overcharged me on the sales tax and didn't how to do a refund. She was otherwise very nice and apologized for the errors.

I believe that they alter the bidding history on items to increase the cost to absentee bidders. I my experience they appear dishonest.

Incorrect description of the watch I bought. My complaint to the auction house wasn't recognized and remains unresolved. If it doesn't get resolved until the end of this week I am planning on taking legal action against auction house as well as live auctioneers.

Morphy stands head and shoulders above the other auction houses I have used through the Liveauctioneers website. I am * very * pleased with Morphy's!

The lot listing in the printed catalog as well as online, indicated there was accompanying documentation that came with the item/lot purchased. When I picked the item up, the documentation could not be found. I was a little disappointed in that, but otherwise, the folks at Morphy's did a very good job.

The LiveAuctioneers software was brilliant as usual. The whole process worked well. Unfortunately one of the 2 items I won was not as described however Morphy Auctions are "looking into the issue" . Basically they were described as MTH coaches, when they are actually not branded at all and would appear to Williams brand.

Morphys claimed the statue we bought was damaged after they had sent me the invoice and the next day they told us they were canceling the sale. I called and said we wanted to see a photo of the damage but the girl claimed they sent the damaged statue and damaged base to a restorer and were returning it to the consigner. Problem is there was never a base to the statue shown or described. We think they just returned the statue because we had bought it for a very low price. We are auctioneers also and once the hammer falls we were the legal owner of that item and should have been asked about the statue supposed damage before making any decisions as to what happened to it. lack of info. no size listed, except heavy, not really heavy. internet auctions are all headed the same way. little info, for the sake of time, high selling and buyers premium, plus, very frustrating with the shipping. auction houses virtually threton the buyer for their money and then they go to sleep. the item was not shipped. they started in house shipping to make even more money, but no rush, they got theirs for the item, if you are lucky you will get a tracking no. in about two weeks. they use false statements, like first payment gets first shipment-bull, we wait and wait. they know we are to many miles away to pick it up so sock it to them. it's a ups fed ex money maker. did I mention their third resource, insurance. they all they can even if it has no real value. they will rap a piece of leather, so that if it fell out of a moving truck at 100 miles per hr. it would not be damaged. the handlers are all irresponsible and it has to be protected even if the value is less than the insurance. if a 6 "x 6" box is acceptable use a 12 "x 12" box, they can charge more with the weight and box size formula. I'm just so happy for the totally phony business of shipping. now you see value in a basket rip-off.

We had asked for a shipping quote for a large item prior to the auction but did not receive a reply. We would like to see additional pictures for most items.
