The problem for me is to contact a shipper, the best is to quote in the invoice the cost of the freighter.

Parking can be a problem on non-auction/preview days (expensive). Maybe have employees park off site during pick up week (week immediately after auction)

Every encounter I have had with this auction house has been A +!!!! The employees are DELIGHTFUL to work with! I live locally and I enjoy seeing them when I pick up my pieces!!! EVERY TIME EVERY EMPLOYEE!!! They are welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! I can’t thing of one negative! EXCELLENT rating!

Best auction house I deal with. Always a pleasure

After having received 2 notifications that I had indeed won the piece and reached out to DuMouchelles for the invoice and to arrange for shipping. I received a response that I had not won the item after all and went to another bidder, despite it still showing on the system that I won the item. I spoke with the manager and was told that the clerk made an error and my bid was not recognized, despite my being on live during the auction no other bids were made. DuMouchelles gave the piece to someone else. I find this to be highly suspect and will NEVER bid on pieces from their auctioneer again and advise others to not depend on their bid and notice of winning an item to actually mean that is the case. Highly disappointed with the whole proces with DuMouchelles.

PAK MAIL 0516 WAS VERY UNRESPONSIVE TO EMAILS, MESSAGES NOT RETURNED. I KNOW WINTER HAS CAUSED SOME PROBLEM BUT A SIMPLE RETURN OF A CALL, EVEN IF THRU PERSONAL CELL PHONE, WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PACKAGE YET SO CAN NOT RATE THEIR SERVICE. ADDITIONALLY THEY QUOTED $68 TO SHIP BUT SHIPPING WAS $111.00 FAR CRY FROM ESTIMATE. ALMOST EVERY OTHER PAKMAIL SERVICE I HAVE USED MAY HAVE SOME DIFFERENCE IN ESTIMATE AND ACTUAL BUT ALWAYS LESS THEN $25.00 DIFFERENCE.

when it arrived there was some fresh damages to it's frame and I'll have someone repair it for me but, UPS downtown is who I'm suspecting under the circumstance... I'm just saying.
