Items were wonderful. Pickup was simple and staff was helpful. Great auction house!

Kamelot is expensive, but did not offer good service. After spending thousands of dollars on my lot I couldn't reach anybody there-their phone number has no voicemail box and no one answered their email. I chose Plycon as my shipper, and their service was only marginally better. I finally received my item, but I wouldn't use either this auction house or this shipper again, it was just too frustrating.

I may be biased because I got my item as the only bidder, but Kamelot answered questions thoroughly, and was helpful with finding a shipper. Thank you!

Our family has for many many decades used the large, Internationally renowned, highly respected top tier Auction Houses, with never a problem. We did not realize that a small place like Kamelot would be any different, it was dreadful. Kamelot has no customer relation skills whatsoever. The only thing they know how to do with regards to ON LINE customers is how to collect their money. Example: We were searching over the weekend before their auction and found a desk that 'looked' good in their photos. No posted condition comments which appears to be normal course for them. Most auction houses have loads of comments on line, this place non at all. So we sent them an email that weekend asking for a condition report. HERE IS THEIR RESPONSE. "I know you believe that requesting a condition report prior to a 3 day auction is fair enough time to conduct a condition report but that not how it works here." Then why is it your firm has written the following on Live Auctioneers website? "THE SPECIALISTS AT KAMELOT ARE HAPPY TO PROVIDE CONDITION REPORTS AND ADDITIONAL PHOTOGRAPHS UPON REQUEST PRIOR TO ANY AUCTION FOR THOSE BUYERS WHO CANNOT ATTEND THE PREVIEW IN PERSON." We suggest you DELETE THAT COMMENT and put in whatever makes you happy. A customer certainly doesn't want to upset your office workers! The good news is that we were just told yesterday about a relatively new website that is TOTALLY focused on the CUSTOMER NEEDS AND WANTS. It is fantastic!! If Kamelot has a rebuttal I guarantee that it will be negative feedback in that all problems are with the customer. Hope Kam learns fast or their on line business will be disappearing.

Impressive operation, very large and extremely organized

This was my first experience with Kamelot. I picked up the items I won. The staff is very courteous and the whole process is very organized and efficient. Auction purchases are risky and pick up is chaotic at some. I would bid there again.

I have found items to be mislabeled and condition much different than pictured.

Very unique items and good experience with this auction house. Emailed questions were answered promptly, and all items were as pictured. I wish they were open on the weekends for pickup, but they have a convenient appointment system through the website that makes scheduling pickup very easy. During pickup all auction staff members were friendly and even assisted with loading items into the truck. My only con with Kamelot is that the buyers premium is on the high side (30 %) and additional taxes/credit card processing fees are tacked on, but they have such nice items that I will continue to buy from them in the future.

Raced to pick up chair before closing. Took them a while to find items (other buyers picking up at loading dock). Paid cash. Then Live Auctioneers charged my credit card two days later. That was a mix up that got settled fairly quickly. But all in all, good, trustworthy place with which to do business.

Dishonest, inaccurate description of item, bad communication, awful customer service, unprofessional staff. I’ve purchased on here from several auction houses and they have all been excellent except Kamelot. Do not bid on a item from this auction house without going in person and inspecting the item in real life. Don’t trust the description that they give you or what the staff tells you about the condition of the item without you seeing it with your own eyes. I will never buy from this auction house and recommend you don’t.

We are all familiar with the "as is" and "we make no representation" clauses that are included in auction listings. Kamelot is apparently willing to use them to their advantage, because this item, a glass table, had a substantial, noticeable chip in one of the two glass table tops. They did not show it in any photographs, and they did not mention it in the description. I didn't find out until the truckers were setting it up at my house. Had I known in advance I may still have bid, but not as much, and I wouldn't have minded if I lost. I will use the table. I will not return it because we all know what a hassle THAT can be. I will not, however, bid on anything else from Kamelot. Buyer, beware. Otherwise, the transaction went smoothly, and the shipper they recommended underpromised and over-delivered. Always a good thing.

Neither the condition report nor the online photos described the extent of the damage to this piece. The auction house to be fair would have allowed the return but refused to authorize the shipper, with whom they have a close business relationship, to pick up the piece. Would have returned it even after paying almost as much to receive it as it cost to ship. Buyer beware!! This does not usually happen to me as I do rely on others ’ reviews of the auction houses. Hence it is important that I leave one after receiving this treatment. (Please don’t publish my personal information given this is a negative review, would prefer to be anonymous, thank you.) The chandelier arrived intact but was filthy. Surprised it photographed as well as it did.

You can’t go wrong when you buy Kamelot Auctions. They always have a nice selection of things. There staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

After receiving a message that they were closed due to covid, I summoned my patience and went on... Apparently they reopened and I did not know. They claim to have sent me messages that I did not receive (but our email in Austin is troublesome so I let that slide). They neither wrote a letter or card, nor called my landline or cell. When I contacted them to see if they were operating again, I was told that I had exceeded the time limit and they cancelled my winning bid. Everyone is scrambling but an sms or a letter w a 50 cent stamp would have informed me. It felt like it was cancelled because I was the only bidder and if they had made a big profit there would have been a larger effort to inform me that they had reopened.

Great Auction House, shipping was made difficult because of confusion with UPS not with Kamelot. I do seriously recommend Kamelot though for the quality of response, selection and overall customer service

Shipping which has nothing to do with them, is astronomical. My item which was $100 was quoted $330 to ship from one of the shippers. I called around and found somebody for $140 to ship. I guess I’ll just have to find more local options or I can go pick it up because it defeats the whole purpose. Good learning lesson for me

Overall, I got my items, but I had questions and it took multiple efforts (emails, phone calls) to get a response. There was a tight window in order to get your merchandise or you would be charged a storage fee. My feedback to the auction house, would be to have an out of office message that lets the customer know you are backed up, otherwise you have no idea how to get your goods.

Auctions at Kamelot are fun, interesting, exciting, and always a great experience start to finish with office staff, antique experts and warehouse employees. We have bid on and won several items from Kamelot as well as consigning one of our own, and we have been very pleased with our experiences all around. We hope to continue a great relationship with them in the future!

With the covid-19 issues, Kamelot was very accommodating throughout the pick-up, shipping process. They were accessible, polite, friendly and professional. Good people to work with!
