A few years ago, I mentioned to Kamelot staff that I was looking for vintage formica dinette sets. I was told that a stunning, unusual French formica set would be coming to auction (which I was able to purchase as a result of this alert). I really appreciate this kind of customer service, on top of the spectacular items that are offered in each auction. Kamelot is my favorite auction house, and I always look forward to browsing the catalogues. Hope to visit in person someday.

Your web site is dire need of an upgrade.

The shipping companies recommended were not very responsive. These recommended shippers by the auction house reflect poorly on the auction house. I eventually wound up abandoning my item in frustration. I will not do business nor recommend this auction house to others.

Pick up from this auction house was atrocious. I have dealt with a lot of auction houses for the past 20 years and this was by far the worst ever. The women in the office acted like they hated their jobs. Adam was the gentleman that was supposed to help me locate my items and all he did was curse the entire time he kept dropping the F bomb in front of My son and I and some other ladies that were there picking up their merchandise. Everyone in the entire auction house acted like they did not want to be working there. I have come to learn that when you have employees that act this way it is usually a reflection of the management. I would NEVER buy from this auction house again. There were some damages on some of the items that were not listed on the line.

Buyers premium is ridiculous and will lead most to skip this sale unless they have something absolutely needed.

They were extremely accomadating to hold the painting a bit longer until I could come and pick it up myself.

I don't like the way they start the bidding. Unlike most auction houses the bidding starts at the lowest absentee bid. I much prefer to start at the bottom and go from there. Under their bidding process I certainly would NOT leave myself open with an absentee bid and run the risk of paying more.

Would prefer to use PayPal or credit card for payment.

Actually As far as the payment process. they did not know that I was tax exempt and there were a couple of extra steps to take.. But all in all an OK experience.
