.50 caliber. 21.5" barrel. SN: 1368. Blued and color casehardened finish, walnut stock and forend. Single shot breechloading percussion carbine with folding leaf military rear sight, fixed front sight blade and saddle bar with ring. Standard American Machine Works markings, matching numbers on frame and barrel. A visible script JH cartouche is present on the reverse wrist. {ANTIQUE}

Condition
Good. Bore dark and oxidized with decent rifling and will likely clean to better. Metal with a rich plum brown patina and some minor traces of faded color. Mechanically functional action. Wood with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
