This is the 2nd time I’ve participated in an auction with Richard Hatch & Associates. As I had anticipated, my item arrived exactly as described and I was delighted with it. When I reached out with questions prior to the auction, they were quick and thorough with the response. This was a seamless and enjoyable purchasing experience.

Over the past 10 years that I have been attending Richard's auction, I have never had an unpleasant experience. He not only offers a unique blend of quality items, but the auction is operated professionally with the highest standards of customer service. Richard plans to retire and close his auction business at the end of this year and he will definitely be missed in the antiques community. I have purchased many treasures from him over these past 10 years and although I definitely hate to see this business close, I wish him the very best.

Had a great experience with this auction house. I love this silk rug, which was packed well and arrived timely. Item was largely as described (especially condition), but it was a third smaller than listed. I think its measurements were accidentally switched with a different rug in the auction. Auction house was good about remedying the situation when I wrote them about the inaccuracy. They were pleasant to deal with and professional. A + experience.

After having received items from other auction houses damaged in shipping recently, I expressed my concerns to Richard about receiving my delicate item undamaged. Richard was completely understanding and did a superb job packing my item as if it was his own precious item. After all, what's the point of bidding on something if you receive it damaged? Richard went above and beyond to make sure the customer, me, was satisfied. Great job, Richard!

This may be the very best auction house with which I have dealt. Mr. Hatch personally goes out of his way to ensure satisfaction. He personally helped me send some belated items (including fine pearls) so that I received these in time for Christmas gift! This is far beyond the call of duty or my expectations! They are # 1 in my work, in terms of assistance, quality items & prices!

I bought a travel lap desk that locks with a key. My item was shipped to me locked, but no key was sent. I spent $200 + and have a useless item. I called Hatch Associates 9 times so far, but they do not answer the phone. I left messages through LiveAuctioneers but no response.
