We paid 70 USD to get our parcel shipped from Ohio to Ontario Canada, meanwhile the actual shipping charge should have only been 30USD quoted by a UPS spokesperson. So when we inquired about a refund for the over shipping charges, we were told no refund! because Jasper52 was only the auctioneers and didn't deal with the items shipment, a second party was responsible for that so we are left dissatisfied to say the least. And on top of being over charged flat out, UPS charged us a additional boarder processing fee of 20 $bring our grand total of shipping to 90 + dollars. I was not given the option to pick a shipper of my choice I was told by Jasper 52 in the invoice shipping was 70USD, so who is responsible for the quote?? I would recommend anyone buying from this auctioneer to arrange your own shipping methods privately and to beware as this seems to be just another way to suck more monies for an item sold through this auction house. Will I bid again A Big Fat NO! unless I get my refund of 57USD.

Transactions are easy but shipping costs became high when you win more items. they combine items for shipping but they simply add each single shipping cost to the final bill

Descriptions of items are too brief. Not enough details. Not enough pictures. Reserves are way too high. I have noticed a large percentage of items are passed. Probably more than half. Check it out. The starting at $1 is a come on. Eliminate it.

The necklace was advertised as David Andersen Sterling the piece is not signed. In fact it is a bracelet the was turned into a necklace. When I contacted they did not respond.

I am a frequent Bidder/Buyer through LIVEAUCTIONEERS. COM. I have purchased from the Jasper52 auction listings several times. On multiple occasions, I have experienced problems completing the transaction AFTER the sale has ended. When I have attempted to contact a representative of Jasper52 via phone, I have received rude and overall poor quality service. On one occasion, I experienced technical difficulties trying to complete my payment using the online invoice page and checkout/payment link that was provided by Jasper52. It took nearly a full week of multiple email communications to Jasper52 before I received a response to my inquiry seeking assistance to resolve the problem. In the interim, Jasper52 filed a "dispute" via LIVEAUCTIONEERS, which caused my auction account to be suspended. I have not been satisfied with Jasper52.

I am facing some issue with this auction house regarding authenticity of the painting. I think they got cheated by their listing agent.

I have two problems with using Jasper52. First, when there is a reserve and items within an auction rarely sell this makes for an unsatiffying experience. The seller should disclose in large, bold, fonts that a reserve exists. In addition, the lowest price they list should be the reserve. Bidding on an item only to see a "reserve not met" pop up pisses me off. Big time! Second. All sellers should handle ALL shipping transactions. If I see a seller that states they do not handle any portion of the shipping or handling for the item I will not bid. Unless you can make this more like an EBay auction and an Amazon shipping experience you will not be wildly successful.

I did not pay for within 48 hours, life happens and they filed a complaint. I have history of buying items from them. Its just was kind of uncool and annoying.

Descriptions and provenances are minimal even on expensive items. This also applies to many other auction houses.

I could not be happier, unless they had the other scenes I was looking for!

Items come from multiple places, no ability to consolidate in USA, even for items from same city, results in extra high shipping costs from multiple sites. In recent auction, I won a number of items, about 6, but shipping cost was 10X the value, so I just paid jasper52 for items and told them to keep the items, no point in paying such high shipping. I won't ever bid with them again.

Very pleased with the whole process and have referred LiveAuctioneers to others.
