We are sorry you were so displeased with the packaging and purchases from our box lot barn auction. We have been family-owned and operated for 80 years and have shipped out hundreds, if not thousands of items to satisfied customers. The four box lots of glass you purchased contained over 25 individual items. We do our best to point out any pertinent defects. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact us for additional condition reports or photos which we are always happy to give in a timely manner. We treat all items with the same care and respect, whether they are $5 or $5000. The early candlestick you referred to (that was already broken) is still collected by advanced collectors as a reference item. Had you not wanted all the items shipped, you should have contacted the shipping department and we would have gladly accommodated your needs. Also, any damage that occurs in shipping, it is noted the buyer is to contact Shipping Saint in a timely manner to file a claim. Again, we are genuinely sorry that you were so unhappy with your items and our service.

Lorenzo, I am very sorry to hear that you are not happy with our prices. For 80 years our Family and Company has been having In-Person Auctions at our Gallery in Bangor, PA. For 20 years, we have done Online Auctions as well. We recently starting doing our own In-House Shipping to save Customers money. Per your complaint, this is my thoughts. 1. We do not take into consideration Buyers Ability to Re-Sell for a profit. Our main focus is our Consignor. With that being said, I am sorry to hear that you will not be making a profit and taking a loss. When we do shipping, the idea is to help our bidders in a speedy and well done process. In this case we packaged and shipped your item immediately. The cost of your shipping was the Box (2.68) Handling fee of $5 (stated in our terms), Packing Time and Materials (14.45) and Shipping (17.05) to Arizona from Pa. Now, we could have thrown this in a box and not really wrapped it or taken much time. But we treat all of our buyers items the same and do the best job we can. When I spoke to you on the phone I explained this. AS for our Buyers Premium of 24 % you must understand that Live Auctioneers gets 5 % of this back. So we do not get it all. Again, I try to treat everyone fairly and do a good job. I am very sorry that you will have to take a loss at the end of the day. However, if you were to have made a profit I am certain that you would not have cut my consignor in on your fortune nor would I be replying to this complaint. IF you do wish to bid with us again, We do offer in-house bidding at a lower percentage buyers premium aS most Auction houses do.
