VON ZEZSCHWITZ Kunst and Design announces auction 27 'Modern Art - Modern Design' on 24th. November in Munich, Germany.

The ‚Modern Design’ section contains glass from Murano, including important works by Dino Martens, Flavio Poli, Fulvio Bianconi, Tobia Scarpa and Alfredo Barbini; iron furniture, bentwood and tubular steel furniture, including rare models by Thonet und J. & J. Kohn, Robert Slezak in Bistritz, Mücke & Melder in Freistadt, Vichr & Co. in Prague und Mauser in Waldeck; a very rareand perfectly preserved wrapper by Theo van Doesburg for the magazine ‚De Stijl’, ca. 1921; lamps by Christian Dell and Marianne Brandt; metalwork by Marianne Brandt, Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky, Karl Raichle, Hans Pzyrembel, Fornasetti and Lino Sabattini; silver by Henning Koppel and Gio Ponti; a ‘Hang-It-All’ coat-hanger by Charles and Ray Eames; furniture by Knoll International, Harry Bertoia, Drabert Brothers in Minden, Verner Panton, Bruno Munari as well as the Vereinigte Werkstätten für Kunst im Handwerk, München (United Workshops for Art in Craftsmanship, Munich), glass by Karl Edvin Öhrström and Vicke Lindstrand for Orrefors, by Dale Chihuly, Göran Wärff, Helén Krantz and Gerhard Schechinger – and much more besides.

In the section ‚Modern Art’ can be found signed lithographs and woodcuts by Max Liebermann, Käthe Kollwitz , Oskar Kokoschka, Larry Rivers, Andy Warhol, Ernst Fuchs, Rudolf Hausner, Rainer Fetting and Christo und Jeanne-Claude as well as gouaches, watercolours, pencil and chalk drawings by Lovis Corinth, Carl Marr, Hans Purrmann, Franz Heckendorf, Christian Arnold, Emil von Gerliczy, Hugo Scheiber, Dorothea Maetzel-Johannsen, Erich Wegner, Issachar Ber Ryback, Karl Hermann Haupt, August Wilhelm Dressler, Gustav Wunderwald, Karl Hofer, Jules Pascin, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Albert Hennig and Stuart Davis.
