This was an awesome experience from start to finish. This auction house handled it all inclusive of shipping. The shipping was fast and easy and incredibly well priced. All the items inclusive of a painting were in the $100.00 range which is cheap. I have purchased cufflinks that were sent for more money than this, so offer two thumbs up.

The condition report and photos that I requested prior to bidding showed three small cracks in small pieces of glass in the border. The piece arrived with 14 breaks including several in very large pieces, all but one of which were covered with packing tape indicating they happened before it was shipped. I did not get the item for more than a month after the auction and had to call both the auction house and their shipping department multiple times. The shipping dept. did pack it very well as evidenced by the fact it seems to have been mostly damaged while in the auction house's care. I wrote Rick Penn Auctions asking questions about shipping after winning the auction (no response-had to phone) and have now advised them of the additional damage. I am obtaining quotes for repairs and will be sharing them with the auction house but my recommendations are: 1) Buy from them if you can pick up in person 2) Don't bid on fragile items 3) Don't bother emailing... you need to phone, and then phone again.

Very easy to deal with from the payment process to pickup schedule. All staff were very helpful and friendly.

I just received the 6 Lots I won at Rich Penn's last auction. It took awhile for them to ship out, but the packing job is unbelievable! I haven't seen better, since I began collecting 3 years ago. The shipping cost was also quite reasonable. Each item is exactly as described, if not even better in person. I don't think it's possible for me to be more satisfied with this whole transaction. I've purchased from Rich Penn before and I will most definitely be doing so again. Thanks a ton!

Cute pair of metal mailboxes. As always I always miss looking at the dimensions. Had to laugh when received because they were so small. Not auction house fault, totally mine. Still think they are cute.

Extremely pleased with the item Purchased and the shipping was outstanding!

I had no problems with the lot that I won, however, they had experienced a glitch and my credit card was charged before I had a chance to arrange a payment option. The lot was packed very well and arrived undamaged. At this time, shipping costs are high so adjust your bid accordingly. When I contacted them, they were very polite and helpful. I would participate in their upcoming auctions.
