1st time bidder with Rich Penn. great auction with a lot to bid on. Didn’t get everything I liked but what I did is fantastic. The wait on shipping was worth it. I had a delicate lamp and shade that was packed very nicely. No problem at all. Good job Looking forward to the next auction.

Participating in the Rich Penn auction was great. The lots were very well described. If you had any questions they were answered within 24 hours. The items I had shipped all arrived in great condition. I am waiting for the next auction. Thanks!

I would have given them 5 stars but they toke about a month to ship and after I reached out to them multiple times. They need a better system for on line bids and remote shipping. Otherwise the folks I talked to were friendly and helpful.

I bid and win items from many different on-line auction companies and have for many years. I understand the flexibility that must be given by bidders/winners of items when dealing with auction houses. I absorb small disappointments very well. My experience with Rich Penn Auctions just checked too many negative experience boxes, such as: 1) Very difficult to communicate with. You call and or email and receive no response. You try different phone numbers and emails with the same results. I waited a month before someone actually answered my phone call to address my question, have my won items shipped as yet? Not yet. Their in-house shipping process is very bad. I asked, is there more than one person in your shipping department? The young agent simply laughed a bit and said, "no". I had spent near $2000 and these folks could care less. During the month of waiting to get an answer as to whether my parcel had shipped or not, I had left phone and email follow-up messages about every 5 days. After talking with the agent, I called back a few days later and the same agent confirmed that the shipment had been made. I had to call them even though I was told the shipping department would send me an email confirmation (never did). One toy was advertised as "MINT". The vintage comic character tin wind-up toy arrived with a "completely" overwound motor-works. One of the toy's, very important, mechanical eyes was missing. I just wanted the toy repaired or returned for a refund. One of the owners finally called me and left a message. I called her back and she answered. For the next two weeks, she kept dragging me through a non-ending process for resolution. When a, near promised, resolution was on the table, communication was frozen on her end. The email addresses that I had been given by the company and by the owner were all bogus. She wanted 1 more document to be sent to her and a partial refund for a repair that I had all set up would be provided. Never heard from her again!

The whole process was relatively seamless. The folks at Rich Penn Auctions are very pleasant to deal with, very friendly and professional. My items were obviously packed with a lot of care and even shipped out a bit earlier than quoted in their Ts & Cs. I will absolutely be participating in their future auctions. Five stars across the board!

Rich Penn auctions sets the benchmark for what an auction should be. They are responsive and professional in each and every lot sold. Equally important is the fact they will ship most items! I won’t deal with an online auction that won’t ship me the items I buy. I look forward each auction to see what treasures Rich Penn has.

For handling such a large event, they appear to be understaffed & lacking their own proper facilities.

Rich Penn great to deal with

Seemed nice enough. However after already having to pay a hefty "buying" fee, why would you be charged to pick up your item? That's like being fined for living close and not having to ship it! Plus, I never seen that in writing anywhere prior. I love to shop online, but the greed of ALL these auction houses may bit them in the rear oneday, hopefully.

The items were just as described. The packaging was excellent. The only comment I have was that it took over one month to receive the items, even though i had paid the invoice immediately after the auction. I was getting a bit nervous because the items were a birthday gift for a friend who's birthday is on Dec 12, 2019.

The Antique Silvered Mantle Clock arrived immediately after auction concluded and in excellent condition. They run a smooth operation that you expect with a high quality Auction House.

UPS store wanted $935.00 to ship two items that I have previously shipped the same items for under $150.00. Total rip off. I told them to keep the items.

They use there local UPS store and they will price gouge you. On 4 signs wrapped in paper and in one box they charged me $285. Actual shipping was only around $60. I understand that they are a business and need to make a profit but that is straight up price gouging. I probably will not participate in another Rich Penn auction unless they offer another shipper.
