Description

(1884-1972) 33rd President of the United States who led the country in the closing days of World War II and through the re-building of Europe under the Marshall Plan and the Korean War. Great I.S.P. inscribed to a judge, 10 x 8 in. b/w, shows Truman wearing a VFW cap and smiling as he stands beside a bronze bust of himself emplaced in an unknown courthouse. Dated by Truman June 13, 1961. Very nicely double-matted in silver and white and set into a silvered wood frame. Of course, Truman was a World War I veteran having served as a commander of field artillery in France.
