Description

(1924-2024) Thirty-ninth President of the United States who engineered a break-through in Arab-Israeli relations. Very rare signed book 'Farewell Address of President Jimmy Carter: January 14, 1981' (Palaemon Press: Winston-Salem), 1981. A lovely first printing of the first edition that bears author and former president Carter's signature directly on the title page. Set into a large shadowbox with (chipped) gilt wood frame. Regrettably, Carter's signature has been exposed to direct light and has faded to about 40-50% else very good. Not examined out of frame.
