FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, INSCRIBED TO LOLA GORNALL: “No. 1 / To / Lola Zana / from / Zane”. Lola was an Australian writer, who over the course of 3 years, kept a written correspondence with Grey (see Gornall papers at Yale). After 3 years, they finally met in Auckland with high expectations, but Lola parried Zane’s advances.
