(1833-1907) Confederate brigadier general commander of Sharp's Brigade which played a prominent role in many engagements of the Army of Tennessee in the Western Theater. Bold signature ‘J. H. Sharp’ in pencil on a 4.5 x 3.5 in. slip of paper. Evenly toned, with archival tape mounting remnants on the verso, otherwise in very good condition.
