World War Two U.S. Navy VC-21 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery. Measures 4.5" x 3.5". Established as Composite Squadron Twenty One(VC-21) on October 30, 1943. The insignia was approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations - CNO on July 24, 1944. VC-21 flew the F4F-4 Wildcat, General Motors FM-2 Wildcat and TBM-3 Avenger. The squadron was deployed on the USS Nassau and the USS Marcus Island. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
