World War Two U.S. Navy VB-6 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery on multi piece wool.. Measures 6" x 2.75". Redesignated Bombing Squadron Six (VB-6) from VB-8B in 1938. The insignia was approved by BuAer on September 1, 1937. In June 1944, VB-6 requested use of the original insignia.
