World War Two U.S. Navy VC-3 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery on twill. Measures 6.5" x 5.125" Established as Composite Squadron Three (VC-3 on August 26, 1943. The insignia approval date is unkown. The squadron was deployed on the USS Suwannee and flew the General Motors FM-2 Wildcat and Grumman TBM-1C Avenger. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
