World War Two U.S. Navy VC-11 squadron patch. The patch is chain stitched on wool. Measures 5" in diameter. Established as Composite Squadron Eleven (VC-11) on September 30,1943. The insignia was approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations - CNO on April 10, 1944. VC-11, was deployed on the USS Nehenta Bay and flew the General Motors FM-2 WIldcat and Grumman TBM-3 Avenger. e Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
