
Description
(1833 - 1863) Confederate brigadier general who fought at First Bull Run and later served in Wheeler's 19th Alabama. Tracy served in Eastern Tennessee prior to participating in the Vicksburg campaign, where he was mortally wounded at Port Gibson. Bold signature 'E. D. Tracy' penned on the face of a postal cover addressed to his wife in Huntsville and bearing Confederate postage. Matted with a photograph and framed in black wood with gold trim. Fine.
