World War Two U.S. Navy VB-3 squadron patch. The patch is schiffli embroidery on wool. Measures 4.875" x 5.375". Established as Bombing Squadron Three (VB-3) on September 1, 1943. The insignia was approved by the Office of Chief of Naval Operations - CNO on October 13, 1943. VB-14 was equipped with the Curtiss SB2C-3 Helldiver and deployed on the USS Wasp. Pick up is Sunday, March 29 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
